All I can tell you is that BlackBerry has been emphatic that my updates would be coming from AT&T, not BlackBerry and interestingly, shortly after it was announced that this specific update seemed to be rolling out to AT&T customers, I got it on my phone.

What customers? Customers with unbranded phones? As you can see by the link provided, they have not rolled out any current update. That's why AT&T customers are yelling about it. Calling customer service and asking that question is a total waste of time as, honestly, they haven't got a clue. If you have an unbranded phone you got your update from Bberry, just as I did. Bottom line for you is, probably good news as you won't get any of AT&T "bundled" bloatware. For me, bad news as loading it will prevent wifi-calling from working. Which means I'm stranded on 10.2.1.

As a side not, zero Verizon customers will get updates directly from BBerry as there are no unbranded 100-4 Z10s. They will have to wait for Verizon or load it themselves,

My Z10 seems to be getting really hot since I installed 10.3. I had occasionally noticed this before but it seems to be happening more often and getting even hotter than before. Is this something I should be worried about? Any way to fix it?

After a new OS install, the OS will go through a lot of indexing and works over time a bit. It is normal that the phone gets warm, but not hot. If it gets hot and stays hot and the battery is draining faster than normal, it is a sure sign that the CPU is working extra hard. You can use Device Monitor to get some insight on what's going on. Most likely cause is the CPU gets stuck somewhere and is not able to get out of a loop. This could be due to problems in indexing, problems accessing the SD card or problems from some rogue apps running in the background. You can try any or all of the following: a hard reboot (press and hold vol+ and vol- together until the blue boot circle appears), removing the SD card, stopping apps running in the background (these are apps listed under memory in Device Monitor and you may have to delete some android apps to stop them). If these don't work, you may have to reload the entire OS and reinstall every single app. I.e. not restoring from Link backup.

I just noticed the first significant bug.
The BlackBerry browser is blacked out in dim light. Flicker is fixed, but browser sometimes won't work.

Posting my experience for what it is worth. I'm on Verizon. No chance of seeing 10.3 anytime soon.

I decided last night to back up thoroughly and apply the latest update for 10.3.1.2726. I used Sachesi.

Worked like a champ the very first time. I feared doing it, but I'm so glad I pulled the trigger and did it. I've downloaded several Amazon apps. Phone reception is markedly better. Battery life is much better.

I've encountered no bugs. I too read the horror stories about peoples phones turning into paper weights. I was pleasantly surprised when it all worked brilliantly the first time I tried it.

    10.3.1.2726 is fantastic!

Only use this build if you are happy not being able to go back to an earlier version as it will prevent you from doing so.

    You have been warned!

What's the best option prior to 10.3.2.500?

Depends. Ask three people and you'll get five opinions.

I noticed that one particular email account got somewhat screwed up with my last update, and it appears to be screwed up again.
The existing inbox becomes a subfolder of the new inbox.

Noticed the same thing with one of my IMAP accounts. Deleted and added only to temporarily fix the problem. Ended up manually setting it up as a POP account. No issues after that.

Take your pick, this is the only one that prevents you from going backwards as far as I'm aware currently.

Have a browse in the Leaks forum section to see what people are saying about other builds before you jump in.

You dont have to, but eventually you will have to because everything will be incompatible.

I'd say stick to 10.2.x because of the nice theme. Much better than this flat stuff.

Really, the only thing you're gainging are kb shortcuts, which dont matter as you have a z10.

That's ridiculous. Try loading an older version for fun, you'll be shocked.

    I don't think I will be shocked, I have a second Z10 running 10.2.1 and it's fine thanks.
