    I thought I synced my contacts from my Gmail a while back. (The whole moving from my 9810 to my Z10 was such a pain, I can't remember. )
    Anyway, now I have no contacts in my Gmail, but they are still on my BB. The function is still turned on in sync and contacts.

    If your talking about why deleted emails don't delete in your Gmail folder you need to set your Gmail settings to not automatically save everything. The next poster can maybe help you with the details as I use Gmail as backup only so I never need to delete anything

    Yes, Contacts should. Albeit, sometimes it takes a while, i.e. not instant...
