I'm trying to get a few more details about the Z10 on shopblackberry before I buy. It states that it is a GSM unlocked model that will work with T-Mobile and AT&T though not much more on the details past that. I plan to use it with Simple Mobile which runs off of the T-Mobile network and wanted to make sure that the model being sold supports the 1700MHz band for HSPA+. I tried calling their support with no success on getting the details of it. Anyone purchased one from shopblackberry?

The z10 there is way way expensive. You can get it cheap from amazon or ebay. If it says unlocked Orr factory unlocked then you can use it on most if not all the carriers. I have one that is factory unlocked and use it on simple mobile. I haven't had any issues with it.

Seems like a good price for an unlocked model to me. I want to buy one with a warranty as I'm not too sure about reliability from reading around the Z10 forum. Mostly I just want to make sure that it is 1700Mhz compatible. I assume it is an STL-100-3 but there are two versions of the 100-3 and one does not support the 1700Mhz band.

Good move. I received a Blackberry Z10, Regional North America, STL100-3, 10.1.0.1720, RFK121LW, Made in Mexico for RIM Canada. This is my first BB since the 8830 and I'm extermely impressed by the phone so far, except I can't use my MetroPCS SIM, have to wait for Nov. 15 and switch to T-Mobile. Had an iPhone 5. The Z10 feels like an adult's device. Great screen, gestures, communication, and amazing browser.

Excellent! Thanks for the follow up on the model number, that was the one I was hoping for. As soon as it comes in I'll be making the jump from Virgin Mobile with an LG Optimus Elite to Simple Mobile with the Z10. First Blackberry phone for me, but I can't see myself disliking it. I've had a Playbook for the last 1 1/2 years and still loving it.
