Stumbled upon a small update few days ago for T-Mobile NL! Couldn't find improvements when playing with my Z, until 2 days later. It seriously has not rebooted!!! After I first noticed it, been on it like a hawk, leaving apps open that I normally don't use and checked every hour to see if that app is stil active, and what the hell, it is now for 3 days!!! Guess they found the reboot fix!!!
    Seriously good news tmobile Netherlands!!!!!!-img_00000419.png

Hmmm....very strange have been having this update for a month now on Tmo NL. Why is that you just received it now. Shouldn't all Tmo clients be getting updates at the same time?
And indeed this update has fixed the reboot issue.

I have had this installed as a leaked version (don't even know if Vodafone NL offers it now) for a couple of weeks now and it's great! No more reboots$

Well it was probably there all this time but I guess I missed the notification, 6 days ago I did a manual update check that's when I found it! So you could be right that it was there for a while already

10.1.0.2354 did solve the reboot issue for most people - the first carrier to officially release it was apparently in Romania, followed by various other European carriers.

The official BlackBerry knowledgebase article on the issue now states that any OS version at 10.1.0.2050 or above contains the self-reboot improvements.

Well that's the problem right there "for the most people " part.
I do have to admit though that since update more than month ago this was first reboot. Comparing that to two/three reboots a day.... but still even this one single reboot in last 5 weeks left me with feeling that this phone is not the work tool to depend upon... Jammer...

I think there are a small number of people that get reboots for different reasons. Top contenders for that minority:

    • Hardware issues, inc loose battery
    • Android app issues
    • OS/data corruption general
