Why are you doing a security wipe?

Best thing to do is let it finish, unless you are trying to do something that isn't accomplished by a wipe anyway.

There are a number of things. They all involve causing it to reboot and catching the bootloader with an autoloader. Depending on the OS level you have currently installed you may have to wipe again, but probably logging on with your BBID and turning BlackBerry Protect off will be sufficient.

Unless you consider your wife to be a technically advanced hostile power using an autoloader would have been your best option anyway.

Never do a security wipe unless all else fails! Back up and do a reinstall. Many problems get corrected this way. I've only had to do two security wipes in my ten years as a blackberry user

Mine has taken more than 5 days. I haven't wanted to unplug it, as it would mean the battery running flat during the swipe. I feel this is a bug that Blackberry knew about, but haven't made it public, nor fixed the problem. Its a real shame.

I went through this a month ago where the wipe on my Z30 was at 80 hours and still not done. I held the power button until it restarted which then restarted the wipe from scratch and then it was done 45 min later.
