    Is there any app available that will search within the notes section of my contacts. This would be very beneficial as they have done away with the categories in the contacts.

    Welcome to the forums!

    Ohh, but contact group are coming back with 10.2.1! Good news there, eh?

    As for notes and searching them, I remember I've seen something about that... I'll post back if I can find it.

    EDIT: All threads I dug up seem to indicate no way of doing it. I'll let you know if I find some more positive news.

    Anytime now. Gold release for the SDK is just out. The OS could be heading (or already be) to carrier testing.

    They said Q1 2014, so anything from tomorrow till March!

    Found the solution. Downloaded from GooglePlay the app: Contacts Search Advanced. Works like a charm in ALL fields of contacts. Including Notes.

    Does this work for you on a Z30? I have found it buggy...just my .02..if y0u have a z30 may I ask what software version you are running of os10?

    Just grabbed it for my z10 and it worked fine.

    It does not search the address fields for me.

    Good (or bad) catch. You are right - did not find contact using a street name.
