My gf's Z10 won't wake up. It's still working because we can hear the sound it makes when messages come in and we can take screen shots and hear the shutter sound. What is isn't doing displaying anything on the screen. If we hold the top button it will display the shut down count down. If we cancel dead screen again if we restart problem solved. It's happening about twice a day and is very inconvenient.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Battery might be faulty.
Used to happen on my sisters legacy device switched out the battery and screen was back to normal.
Is doing any other funny things?

No otherwise it's great and she loves it.
A faulty battery is interesting. I would have never thought of that

Bare in mind I could be completely wrong on this, it is just a suggestion.
But everytime I saw the screen refusing to switch on a legacy device it was 99% of the time because of the battery. Might just be a faulty handset.

Like I said though I may be waaaay off, consider that the screen displays on when you hold the power button.
There aren't any carrier updates available to download?

Also I sposse I should have asked initially, do you know what she was doing on the phone each time before it happens?

This happened to me yesterday (maybe, the sound was off so I am not 100%x but everything else was the same). I fixed it with a battery pull.

It does fix itself when she resets the phone. It's just that's annoying shouldn't have to do that.
