My screen only responds when it's exposed to heat/ during hot weather. I've used an autoloader to try and correct the situation but it hasn't worked so I don't think it's a software problem. Do I need to have the screen replaced or are there other solutions?

Have you tried testing the screen with BlackBerry Virtual Expert? If BBVE finds a problem then yes you'll probably have to replace the screen.

Then test it again when it's cold.

The screen is unusable (does not respond to touch) when it's cold

So it'll be impossible to test it then

I would replace the screen then. If you still want to keep it that is.
