I have a blackberry z10, and it's a great phone, apart from the fact I can't save or upload pictures! When I'm in the browser and I want to save a file nothing will happen, when I click save the z10 doesnt react at all. I can't upload pictures within the browser or attach files anywhere, and this is frustrating me as I like to download and upload media regularly. I have put my media card into another device and files save as normal, I really don't know what to do??

If you share files & media regularly just tap & hold on to the media in the website or wherever you are & a share menu will appear just share it from there. You don't need to save it into your phone first before sharing.

This will be true if you are sharing it on to other apps like emails, facebook, tweeter, BBM, WhatsApp, text, dropbox, & etc

However if you want to share it to other websites from the browser you will need to save it first then upload.

Thankyou for telling me that, it will make it a bit quicker But the problem is actually saving and uploading the files, my phone isn't letting me do that..

Tap and hold the picture in the browser and then use this button.



The File Manager will pop up and you'll be able to choose where you want to save the picture. You can also save them to your media card, Box, Dropbox and your computer (if you have this set up).

If this doesn't help, restart your phone and then try again. Hope this helps.

Side note: if you hold the "save picture" button to long, it will not react. Once the side menu pops up, simply click the "save picture" button. It could be that you are experiencing this. It happens to me still sometimes.

That's what I've been doing, but when I press it nothing happens, I've tried it with lots of files so I don't understand why things aren't saving

Have you restarted the phone? This deals very well with certain bugs. Hold both volume buttons until the phone restarts.

I've restarted it several times and it doesnt seem to be working :/?..

Try the picture in full screen. You'll have less options here, but amongst them is a save button. Try it like that.

Then it's an OS issue. Try to wipe or install the latest leak

Well then indeed it's a bug. You can try to reload the OS if you're comfortable with that. You could also check with your carrier if they can do it for you and replace it in case the issue continues to exist.
