    Hi and welcome to CrackBerry!
have you tried cleaning out your cache and rebooting your PC first? and then connecting?

    I had this problem too!

I fixed it like this: Go to your settings and turn "Set device to usb mass storage" on

Unplug and replug your usb cord and it *should* recognize it!

Sometimes a simple reboot of your computer will fix the problem.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but what to do in a similar situation?

My computer connects immediately to the Z10 via USB, it's just the Sachesi that can't detect my phone. I don't use (and won't use) BBLink, because it kills my browsers when it's installed, so that's why I thought of the Sachesi route.

File exchange is absolutely OK with my computer, but the Sachesi doesn't work. I give my BB ID PW and it just spins the cog, and nothing happens. I pull the plug, the reconnect the USB, the computer signals immediately that the device was connected, Sachesi can't find anything. USB is set to Windows and Mass Storage. Rebooting my computer doesn't change the situation. Using another USB port brings up the Install Wizard (I'm on XP SP3) then notifies me that it was unable to install the hardware. I change back to the previous port and it instantly shows it as Drive X...

You need to find BlackBerry drivers then. Included in link and I am not sure if available as stand alone install.

Posted by my device of choice. Might be a BlackBerry, might not be. It is of concern to you.

I had the problem and it was fixed by using a new USB cable. I was able to connect to Link with the old cable, but not Sachesi. I actually bought a new cable and it fixed the issue. I have plenty of cables, but they were all old and well used. None worked.
