When speaking to a Rogers Manager, he said that he got a email saying that the phone should be released either tomorrow after the launch OR on Feb the 1st as well. He could not give me anymore info but he claims the email says that. When i asked him WHY they said either tomorrow or Feb 1st, he claimed that RIM sent them skids of the phones at the warehouse but the reservation ones will come out late.

Did you take a screenshot or a picture of it? I know the rep must of been there but yea. Anyways as much as i want to believe we will get it tomorrow, i doubt it. Rogers reservation system shows OPEN still. The Best buy store owner i know said he never got a skid of them at all. Neither did any other best buy yet.

The problem is that when you speak to any carrier reps, they will tell you what you want to hear. This has happened many times. If the phone gets released tomorrow, i will bite my tongue. If it does not, i hope that who ever believed the reps, learns not to believe everything they say.

Like i said. Every rep we speak to, will give us a different answer. You want to know why? Its either because they do not want to give us the info OR most likely they do not have the info & are just claiming the dates they come up with. I know Rogers reps very well to know the tricks they play.

Well yea you are doing a promotion for them. They will give you the phone for free so you can test it out & show it off. Most likely we shall receive the phone before the end of the week. I doubt they will make us wait for a long time.

It could well be either today or tomorrow. No one will know unless someone leaks it out OR wait until RIM says something.

Every Rogers reservation says OPEN still. I called 24 times with different voices & all the reps said different things.
