Default Rogers, z10, godaddy blackberry exchange

Is there anyone out there that has successfully connected a z10 to a godaddy exchange account?

I've tried repeatedly. Reset the device. Submitted many activation codes. Talked with tech support. No luck so far. They tell me that the pin has been validated and that there should be no reason that it cannot successfully be configured and sync'd. However the device doesn't complete.

I'm looking for success stories or some direction in getting it resolved.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you provide details of what servers you are using? Do you have it working with anything else other than the z10?

Did you try manually configuring the settings on the BlackBerry Z10 instead of using the automated process? It seems to have worked for another person.

Welcome to CrackBerry Forums! GoDaddy requires special instructions for IMAP connections on BlackBerry 10 devices, so I'm not surprised about your difficulties with this.

When you tried to configure Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) on your device, did you follow instructions similar to these:
Using an iPhone or iPad with Hosted Exchange | Go Daddy Help | Go Daddy Support
OR were they more like these:
Using Windows Phone 7 with Hosted Exchange Email | Go Daddy Help | Go Daddy Support

(Yes, both of those refer to instructions for non-BlackBerry devices but GoDaddy, just like most email providers, currently doesn't have instructions appropriate for BlackBerry 10 devices and usually the instructions for the iPhone or Windows Phone should be followed rather than outdated instructions for legacy BlackBerry devices running Handheld Software 7.x and lower.)

If GoDaddy had you set up a BES account, then that was incorrect. GoDaddy does not appear to support BES 10. You must use either EAS or IMAP.

The account was functional with previous BBs. I don't have an answer to the server question. I access a control panel that is routed through a vendor site site that resells GoDaddy product. I contact GoDaddy support.

Thanks. I was wondering about that. I'll give that a try.

I entered my exchange email control panel, assigned an active email account along with the device PIN to the service and requested an activation pass key. The pass key was sent to the subscribed address within an hour of the request. I went into exchange email setup on the BB, typed the address, provided the pass key and was informed that the pass key was invalid or it had expired. This happened repeatedly.

All account activities are functioning correctly in Outlook and online.

I could be wrong but that sounds like BES procedure and not Activesync so that would work with your old BlackBerry and not the Z10.

I am using Go Daddy but just with regular email and not hosted Exchange so I can't help you much with my specific example but using the Windows 7 instructions posted above as a guide (I had to use different server names) and the Advanced setup on the Z10 did work setting up my cousin's Z10 and his hosted Exchange account.
    7100t -> 7230 -> 7290 -> 8700r -> 8310 -> 8900 -> 8520 -> 9800 -> 9810 -> 9900 -> Z10 & Playbook (64gb)

Mine kind of works, I have the exact same specs as you (rogers, godaddy hosted exchange) and the only problem I'm having is that when I reply to emails from my BB10, it doesn't show that on my desktop outlook.
It will show in the sent folder, but now "responded arrow" on that same email.

All my emails show up however.

This will NOT work just as ubermanx said!!! Like I said earlier, you cannot use the instructions GoDaddy (ugh) provides for BlackBerry. Try the EAS instructions for the iPhone first, then Windows Phone instructions second.
