my z10 had an issue with its mic so i got a new one. i made a back up before turning it in and now when its in link it says "backup file not available for this device" is there a way to restore it? i searched the forum with no luck

That's what I was wondering too.

@OP: upgrade the OS on your new Z10 first, then use the Restore.

Or if you have the old one still, just use the Device Switch function in Link.

I haven't done so since 10.2.0, but yes, Sachesi allowed me to restore a backup taken on a higher OS version to a lower one. I'd certainly give it a try.
