While trying to see how the remote access works I have deleted from my Z10 my laptop from the paired computer list. I have tried to reload BB link, turning on and off remote file access from my Z10, signing out from BB link...nothing...still I can't see my laptop as paired. I have made backup with BB link...any help?

Can't you set your default computer location within BBerry link?

Have you go to the settings in Link to chose which folders to share? Try renaming your phone too. That worked for me.

I managed to pair it and appear as paired device in Z10's settings but still my computer does not appear in file manager....any suggestions?

Some screen shots of your Link? Do you see this screen in setting on Link? Have it connected via usb and /wifi? If all fails, uninstall Link and Factory restore the phone (make sure to back up all your stuff)

I see the same view with the difference that although I have changed the name of the Z10 still the old name appears. I have signed out and in with the BBID many times but still the old name appears....any suggestions?
Ie. Old name AGZ10. Current device name AG-BBZ10
I see it as paired but the name is not the same.

I can only think of two things, Reload Device Software and Remove all the devises and start over again...sorry for not being able to help...that worked for me...
