What is that 1 hour and how to get it removed?

This refers to the duration of the Event. I don�t think that you can get rid of it

I dont think that you can change the duration. Its in your calendar as a special event. you can remove the reminder, but then it will show (1 day)

you can remove the due date too, but then you have now reminder on lock screen

Hmm, I hope it will get fixed and it would be even better if instead of 1 hour, time remaining would be shown.
