- It is mentioned that we can set a notification color for a contact? (what I understood is? If I set a color to contact whenever he sms, email, call me I will be getting that color? Is this true? If it is true then I have the same person on my bbm and whatsapp.. will this applies to these applications also?)

yeah, once you set a color to a contact it will be for those things, calls, sms, texts, emails etc. For BBM, it has to be a feature in the app (I haven't checked out colorID before but once they support BBM for individual contact colors you're good to go.) They normally highlight this as a selling point!
