    I have recently been getting a red exclamation point while charging my phone. I've been using the same charger that the phone has come with. What's going on?(BlackBerry Z10)

    When I use a charger from HTC (wall charger + usb plug) I get that too. And it won't charge in my case. I get a message in my screen that the charger is not working for my device.

    Try using a computer and see if you get the same error. Or do you have another charger you can use. This will help eliminate things to find what is wrong.

    I am having the same issue. Just started yesterday night. Phone won't charge at all. Tried both with the computer or to the electricity outlet.

    Unless my battery has suddenly gone caput it must be a software issue. That is my hunch.

    Are you using original or aftermarket chargers? Reason I ask is that I've had issues with aftermarket chargers before. Work fine with my wife's iPhone, but don't work with my Z10 or my Playbook.

    I think one possible explanation is the contact point nay be dirty.

    Give it a blow and see if it gets better

    Similar thing happened to me last night as well. No exclamation point...just would not begin to charge. Disconnected from wall charger and put device into standby. Plugged it back in and charging began. Working fine now. Z10 on official VZW OS.

    Same problem, was using charger from my tour and it worked fine then until week ago it stopped and now using the charger that came with z10 and no problem

    It's charging now but it still gives the red exclamation point. Haven't changed chargers, using the original. It is all a bit strange. Battery health is around 84% according to Battery Guru. Anybody else have this recent issue?

    It comes when your phone is either using more power than getting through the charger or even less... it just shows that your battery is still being drained. All of the above is true.... I usually have it when I hammer my phone and am on a 0.5 A outlet like my laptop....

    Had the same issue when using a BOLD car charger. Phone was not charging , weird red icon. bought a new car charger, problem solved.

    If red is showing, battery is below 10%. Will go away with a proper charger.

    Has happened to me before, just reboot it fixed itself, some times just unplug and replug again fix it. I guess is sometimes it won't get the right connection. Haven't see it for more than 5 month now.

    I had the problem for a bit. I wiped and reloaded the software and haven't had it since. Good luck!

    Had this when charging from around 50% and I unplugged it and plugged it back in and was fine. This was on the original charger.
