    Hi, I was wondering where the quick silent mode is gone sinse the below description doesn't seem to work :

    Nah I don't think I can do it either. You can put the phone on silent from the pull down though.

    Anyone else?? I can't believe that there is no way to get into mute mode quickly without loosing the option to work with the device

    you need to make sure you volume buttons are not on for "always adjust media volume". This can be disabled from settings > main volume > always adjust media volume. Turn that off, and next time u can press the volume down button (when not playing media of course) until the volume goes to zero and the phone switches to silent or vibrate, depending on what was your last quiet profile.
