My daughter's dog decided her Z10 would make a good chew toy. She has long since purchased a replacement Z10 but it bothers me to see this poor, broken BlackBerry! I have replaced several BB screens and other parts over the last few years for various people and I work in IT and regularly replace components... just to give my background and show that I do have basic knowledge - and of course YouTube is my friend. The problem: I have tried three different replacement screens and still don't get anything to show up on the screen. The dog did bite into the phone but in the corner and the circuit board looks totally fine, so I can't figure out what the problem might be. The only thing I have noticed is the serial numbers for the replacement screens are different that the original only in the last number (ie the original is: ‎lcd-46537-001/111 2 and the replacement screens are all ‎lcd-46537-001/111 3). Has anyone else encountered this issue? Could it be a mis-matched digitizer/screen issue or is it more likely that the circuit board is damaged even though it appears fine? Thanks for any input.

In readings here, the serial/part number must match. So that probably is the problem. I have no idea what the differences are between the models since they obviously fit and look identical.

I recently just replaced a Z10 screen. When ordering I went with this ebay seller

Blackberry Z10 LCD Screen Digitizer Only | eBay

In the description they usually say works with LTE models. When I get home I will check to see what the numbers are on the screens I picked up. Just for reference I replaced the screen on a Verizon Z10.

Thank you! I have requested the full model number from sellers but the all just give me the 46537-001/111 part and don't seem to know the final number. Has anyone been able to get a full model number from a seller before ordering? I really don't want to go with screen #4 without knowing.

So I checked this morning and the screen that was broken and the second replacement screen I had were both 46537-001/111 2. If you could post the listing you bought them from we can see if there's any reason why the ones you picked up didn't work.

Sorry for the slow response... All 3 replacement screens I received were 46537-001/111 3 and my original screen was a 46537-001/111 2. Where did you buy your screen? I NEED that"2"!!

The first one I purchased was: BlackBerry Z10 LCD Screen and Digitizer with Middle Plate (4G Version)
(at the time it was the only place I could find and I had to wait for it to ship from overseas) When that one didn't work they sent me a replacement but it was the same model number... even when I made it clear that I needed to know that last digit before I paid for overseas shipping to and from... (FYI - after it didn't work, I took it completely apart and verified that it was a "3", not a "2". I purchased that entire piece because the original middle plate had dog bite marks in it.)

This is the 3rd screen I received: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...UvbUpU11043044

I have asked several vendors for the complete model number but no one can give me that last digit for some reason...

Bummer. I ordered from your link and I got a "3" yet again... not a "2". This stinks

I bought a used Z10 that wasn't showing anything on the screen but one could see the backlight coming on. The cable connection on the motherboard looked a little worn and when I tried an HDMI able I discovered it works.

He finally just responded to me and said he didn't have any -2s. :-( So I just wasted more money. At this point I've spent more than the phone is worth, guess I need to admit defeat...
