Hi,

I just came across a Z10 that used to be a store demo from eBay for a pretty good price. Does anyone know if I can reset the display software on it and reload the original OS?

I have done a security wipe on my phone twice, and twice it bricked my phone, with a lot of effort I managed to restore it, even after a rep claimed the device defective and told me to go get a replacement .

I would do a factory restore from withing Link software as when it starts reloading the OS not much can go wrong, thats how i will be doing all my security wipes from now on should i have the need for it

So what do you think? Install the Blackberry 10 Desktop Software, and reset it how?

There's a way to turn off demo mode, if that's what you're talking about. Not sure how though.

yes the demo mode can be turned on or off in the display advance settings,

However i would probably still reload the OS through the Desktop Link sorftware

There is a password though to turn off demo mode. I am trying to restore it now through the desktop software
