I guess I should have asked this prior to ordering one off Crackberry, but is there a hole in the flap of the swivel holster that allows for headphone use when holstered?

Sort of, The flap is made to angle away to to one side leave lots of room for the headphones jack so that there is no need to have a hole in the actual flap. Mine just arrived Thusday. It's almost as sleek as the phone. Just terrific.

If you put the phone in the holster screen facing in, the hole for the earphone is exposed.

As well as providing for the ear phone, if you put the phone in face forwards, the flap protects the camera lens.

Shouldn't the face be in anyways?

Always put my Bold in that way and it just seemed to fit better.

It'd debatable. Some videos show it face out, where you can still see the LED, but this offers less protection of the screen, and stops access to the ear phone jack.

I agree that the phone should face in like previous handset cases for the reasons mentioned previously.

Thnx, but I thought the idea of using a holster was to clip on your belt or pocket and then take the phone out when needed.

Useless you're giraffe, you'd never see the light , so what's the point.
