hi All

I just upgrade my Z10 to OS 10.2, and I can see that email account is changed to Sync Inteval, and I cannot see option for push-email. So that it sync my email in 30'.

How to enable push email option in OS 10.2

It could be that your email doesn't support push email. Anyway, the option is in advanced account settings.

I can get your picture if I chose Hotmail, but I cannot get it once I chose POP mail.

I think push is only supported on imap and active sync

Right. POP email doesn't, and can't, push.

Even on BIS, the BB servers did the polling every 15 minutes, and only pushed to your phone if something was there.

Now, the phone itself does the polling at the interval you set.

Yep -- POP doesn't support push at all.

IMAP does as does Exchange. Note that IMAP's IDLE is sometimes implemented but broken by the providers (Google is notorious for this) which can result in the phone reverting to polling for the next interval of time. This isn't the phone's fault -- it happens with desktop clients too.

I think that 100% persons who know BB, they remember BB with Push Email, Keyboard and BBM. Now, does not Push Mail, does not Keyboard. I am very sad.

POP accounts are not push capable. The old BlackBerry OS did manage to provide push using POP because of the BIS service running on the BlackBerry side. BlackBerry 10 no longer does this. It uses standard email protocols.

Best option if you want quick email on the Z10 is this;

1. Set the update interval to 5 minutes, which is the shortest currently possible. The device will poll the email server every 5 mins for new email.

2. When you are waiting for a special email, you can wait in the hub and press "Refresh" to check as often as you like (more often than the 5 minutes). Refresh is inside the menu that is in the bottom-right of the hub.
