As we are near the release date of the Z10 in the U.S., AT&T has updated their system to recognize unlocked Z10's on their network.
Previously, unlocked Z10s would not be recognized as a smartphone on AT&T if you tried to add the IMEI to your account.

Now that adding the IMEI is possible, this enables a faster internet, association with the correct data plan, full LTE recognition (for those of you that didn't get LTE before), and it eliminates the common issue of the internet stopping to load in the browser after about 1 minute of browsing.

Just thought I'd put this out there for those of you that can benefit.
I added my Rogers Unlocked STL100-3 IMEI to my AT&T account today, and it has made a notable difference in performance.

how do i add the imei number to my account online? do i have to go to an att office to do that?

I just logged into my AT&T account and it now shows my phone as a Z10, with all kinds of new options for LTE data plans...and I've never called them to let them know I have a Z10...
