After five years of faithful service, my blackberry bold 9650 is retired May i just say that there isn't anything wrong with the 9650; it has served me well. (apart from the fact that the screen doesn't lock anymore)

I now have a Blackberry z10 in white on verizon and I am loooooving it. I learned the hard way not to charge it using the 9650 (legacy phones) charger because it rebooted on me but apart from that it's been a smooth ride. I have a otterbox cover that I will use when I am out and about but it is TRULY a beautiful mobile. I feel like I have a proper electronic device at my disposal.

One thing that gets me is that I received a message from Blackberry saying that I can no longer use my email [email protected] and for a year it will forward my emails to my gmail account. That was never an issue with my 9650. Received emails all the time. Alas, some things must change.

    Anyway, super happy. Super happy.

    Hi and welcome to CB!
I had a 9650 and a 9930 in there as well. But i love my Z10 most of all!!!
And yes, no more @vzw.blackberry.net email. I used to love it to send things to myself. But other than that......
WOOOHOOOOOO love your Z as much as I do!!!

Talk about being loyal to the Bold 9650 for 5 years?? Watch everyone will say that the old fashioned guy has finally upgraded!

Give the Z10 a week or two and once it gets adapted to your vocabulary, you'll love it even more!

P.S. Make sure you download the CB 10 app!

Enjoy your new z10! If you have any issues don't hesitate to ask. Some people will tell you to search the forums, but plenty will be nice enough to help you out. I'm on vzw and the only thing I'd recommend out of the gate is to look into getting the latest 10.1 os 2354 leak so you can enjoy better battery life and no random reboots! Again, congrats!

This is what I like about crackberry forum; such helpful comments and suggestions. I recently received a 10.0.9.422 update but not sure whether or not to download it. My OS is running fine now. I am currently running 10.0.9.412. Is there a big difference?

We have 2 Verizon Z10's on 10.1.0.2354 with 1881 radio file. Smoother. Faster. Glad to hear you upgraded also. We had 8530 Curves.

Downloaded 10.0.9.422 and it's running fine. Sometimes it restarts but eh. I'm sure it will sort itself out.
