    Hi All, my z10 has gone "dead", only the red led blinks once and then 6 times . That's all he does :-(. And this with or without battery installed. Any ideas how to get out of this? Many thx

    I assume this happened during or after an OS update attempt, or a battery pull?

    That generally means the OS or filesystem is corrupted. Probably have to re-load the OS, I hope you have a recent backup.

    One thing you can check if you already have not: leave it on the charger overnight, see if the light pattern changes or it powers up afterwards. If not, see above sentence.

    Like Omnitech says, reload the os (hoping it's a software issue and not hardware). Please post back with what you find out. Solutions to problems/issues always help the next guy.

    Hi Omnitech and Jamesharmeling, many thx guys, it took me a while but after being able to hook up the z10 to my PC i could reload the os and now he's alive and kicking again!! Thx!!!!
