Hi,

In the last couple of hours, when I go to BB World on my Z10, I get the message 'Getting my preloaded items failed'. I press OK, and can see everything fine, but when I try to download an app., it tells me there's a network error.

Has anyone else come across this, and know why it's happening? I've reset the handset twice, to no avail.

Me too. "Getting my preloaded items failed" and also cannot get onto Blackberry Appworld at all, even on my PC.
Infuriating because it's such a good piece of kit in most respects. Only found this one entry on Crackberry when searching for answers this afternoon too.

Scrap the last post. Just tried to log in at BBW on the laptop - grey screen.

If it doesn't rectify itself later, and no one's offers a solution, I'll uninstall / reinstall I guess.

Just tried BB App World on my iPad4 and... nothing when I login..

Also tried to register a new payment method on Z10. Message "Payment Error" BlackBerry World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry world server. Verify your network connections and try again.
My network is fine so it must be a BB issue. Wonder if they are aware and if not, how we raise it? Any ideas?

Same here. The pop up message says,"Getting my preloaded apps failed". Just started today. Also when I attempt a purchase it says, "BlackBerry World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry World server. Verify your network connections and try again". Already tried a restart but didn't fix it.

The same happened two days ago when they updated the UI of the BB World, maybe they are working on another update, should be good, but they should anounce it.

Just tried power down then up. Nothing changed. So tried battery pull, wait and restart. Nothing different - still getting message "Getting my preloaded items failed whenever I open BB World app. If they are updating, it's a pretty shoddy way to do it, leaving users high and dry. Irony is, this started for me when I tried to buy an app from them!

Just tried it again after not having service for 15mins (train journey home), and working fine now, downloads included.

Very odd. Is anyone else's now back up?

Yes, not getting the "preloaded" message on Z10 any more. Will check again to see if I can buy anything!

Yes, can now sign in on AppWorld and able to change my payment options, which was prevented before. Might be my carrier - O2UK?? Or is this across all carriers?

I'm on EEUK. So not carrier related I doubt.
