    This has happened on my z10 recently.
    It's only a minor inconvenience but I am wondering if it is at all widespread and if there is a way to fix it, or if I should just live with it until I get a new phone?

    It's surprisingly unimportant actually. It only annoys me that I can't put it in standby instantly like I used to and I can only power down with a battery pull.

    I believe folks have replaced that module/component themselves.
