On Verizon, performed the LEAKED Verizon .2354 OS update. Stayed with the .2355 radio. Wanted to see everyone's thoughts on which radio version they're using (Post OS 2354update) and what differences they've noticed using one over the other.

Honestly its been hit or miss. I'm using the original radio from the leak and only get dropped calls when I'm home. Sadly I don't get a great signal at home anyway. I've heard others have switched and still get dropped calls. You're going to have to find what works for you.

Working with the 1881 radio for .2354

Seems like this is the best combo if your on VZ

Thanks TH. I stayed with the .2355 radio and haven't had any issues but want to see why others are switching to the 1917 radio?

So far I am having the best battery life on OS 2354 with the 1881 radio file on my VZW Z10. The 2355 radio caused a higher battery drain and I was not getting very good wifi performance or signal. I also tried the 1917 radio and that was worse then the 2355 radio, I actually started dropping calls with that radio.

Though I am starting to experience some annoying things like my calendar notifications not occurring and BlackBerry Travel is not putting some of my trips on my calendar. So I think I am going to try a security wipe to see if that fixes those issues. I just wish there was a way to back up only my Password Keeper data so I could just restore that info but there is not. I would rather not restore anything after I do the wipe in case the what is causing the issues gets backed up in the application data.

I"m also on Verizon with 2354/2355 radio. Had a few dropped calls, Poor reception at home in one spot at house. Battery life seems ok. Had updated from 10.1.0.273. May try flashing 1881 or 1917 radio file. May wait for next full os from CB. I'm a little leery about flashing a radio file on top of os leak as I haven't done this yet. Hearing too many people with bricks. Need step by step instructions on how to install radio file on top of os after using phone now for a week.

Edited: Loaded 1881 radio, much better. No dropped calls. Bluetooth stays connected.

On vzw os 2354 with original radio file and initially I has a few dropped calls, still so every now and again and all of my text messages get sent to the recipient twice, also there doesn't seem to be any major improvements in battery life.

I am using 1881 radio. It is working very well for me right now. God battery life and no dropped calls. I had a few dropped calls on 1917 and the radio that came with 2354. Hope this helps.

+1 1881 radio. Before constantly losing signal. Now signal solid. Haven't tried other radios in all fairness.

on .2354 now with the 1881 radio, just flashed it today after another dropped call with the 2355 radio. Had dropped calls with .2342 with 2337 radio as well. I never had a dropped call with .422 but major reboots. Battery life has been great with .2354, but we will see if that changes. I also have had multiple text both to and from with.2354 and 2342. we will see if that changes as well with the 1881 radio.

I'm on 2354. 2355 radio dropped calls. Switched to 1881 radio, and all is well.

+1 on Verizon 100-4, .2354. Have tried most of the radios and had dropped calls on all but 1881 so far so great!

Thanks DRB. I can just run the 1881 radio autoloader, the same way I ran the 2354 OS update, correct? I went the autoloader route but want to try the 1881 radio now. Didn't know if I can just run that. I shouldn't have to reinstall apps/data for a radio file, should I? Also, should I put phone in development mode prior to running 1881 autoloader?
    Thanks!

Run it just like any autoloader. No need to put it in developer mode. Your data is safe. You will only change radio files. Quick and painless for most folks it seems.
