nope, only one media source can be played at a time. Although I have had the media player play along with another music source from the browser at the same time. but not phone calls. it'll tell you you can't play anything because the phone is in use.

This actually happened before, I was listening to music on earphones received a call, pressed the button on the earphones to answer the call mute music and the music continued to play while I was on the call through the headphones.
I asked the caller if they could hear the music and they couldn't.

weird, it always pauses for me until the call ends

It kept playing faintly in the background, happened that once hasn't happened since.

i notice that when a call comes in and i'm already playing music, the music will attenuate for a second and then the call comes in. maybe it was a glitch that kept the phone playing the music at the attenuated volume for the duration of the call.
