I went to the downtown Miami T-Mobile store to see what was going on locally and was happy to see a Z10 display with a dummy device and real device on demo mode. The stand had a video screen showing off the device and was labeled BlackBerry Z10. All of the reps knew about the phone and one rep was very familiar with it and was the one showing everyone how to use it, turn it on and off, etc. Two people were buying it while I was there and a third was waiting for her turn to buy. They didn't know the password to exit demo mode so that I could show them more, but I showed them on my personal device. Overall, I think that store is handling the launch well.

TMO though has to allow the demo phone out of demo mode so that the capabilities can be shown off. Demo mode is nice for passers-by, but you need to be able to use the device to make a decision to buy if you are undecided.
