    i just bought a new blackberry z10. charged it over night and tried to switch i on in the morning but it wouldn't start. please help me

    A branch new blackberry z10? Do u even see a red light when you press the power button? Put your hands over the screen and see if u can see any dim light, if u see none, when u plugged it in did you see a indication that it was charging? And if yes try plugging it in in a different outlet

    Try holding down the power button for a while also

    How long have you pressed the power button for? It usually takes a few seconds before the red light comes on and the boot sequence starts. Also - will it power on when plugged in?

    If the phone doesn't start then remove the battery... and fit it in.. and then press the power button for 5 second and wait... the phone should turn on...
    If not then let us know here..

    I don't want to be that cynical. Just yesterday my z10 refused to turn on. Vol buttons got me the colored logo but 2 hours later it was stalled at 98%, then for another 2 hours at 99. And then never moved forward. BB Link stalled, too. I did post. 16 hours later after a bunch of false starts and LINKs and Sachesi and Leak Loader and calling my carrier, they authorized a replacement. 4 hours later I managed to get it going and I don't know why it stalled and died and why it finally took and OS (leak). My pleas went out publicly and privately.

    Quite a few people come by with their problems. Answer as best we can and hope that it helps and they are not shills!
