    my sd card is 8gb, it is guaranteed, i used other sd cards on my phone and the same thing happened, i used my current sd card on other phones and on my laptop, it worked successfully

    I think that your sd card slot on your z10 has some problems.
    I broke the SIM card slot of my Z10 the first time i put the sim inside.

    OFF the device and put SD card and restart device. ON device waiting for few minutes for OS to read the SD card.
