This is exactly it. Terrible top grossing apps, that very few, if any people want.

What is it with everyone and their bank apps. Most respectable banks have a mobile version that offers the same or more functionality than you get with an app.

Just create a homepage shortcut as a launcher.

If your bank doesn't have a decent mobile site, change banks, they are doomed.

I generally agree. I am fine with using the mobile sites for banking. I do understand that some people want a dedicated app and a banking app is still way more valuable than the thousands of individual ebook-type apps that fill up the store.

Some people such as me, because barclays.co.uk is not Q10 friendly.

Every platform? Its only been released on android but point taken.
No... Symbian, bada, WinMo, etc. It's been around for a while. I am fairly confident that Swype (and/or Swiftkey Flow) would do exceptionally well in BBW.

One thing a shortcut cannot do? Mobile deposit.

Care to name two or three apps that would be great to see on BlackBerry 10?

Banking apps are useful at least with Chase because with their mobile site you cannot do the "deposit check with picture" feature.
