I take a picture and it will not open in the pictures app. I get maybe a quick glance but then just see a black screen. But once they sync to Box, I can view them from there in the file manager. Any ideas?

That doesn't sound right at all. Have you tried restarting the device?

I had a similar issue but with videos...I had to wipe the phone to factory settings...

How was the restore function? Did you have to set up all your accounts again? Did it restore your apps, the side loaded ones too?

Make sure you do a back up first...then make sure you have a full battery...it will restore back like you first bought it...resets everything...email...fb..
Apps gone...totally wiped clean...you can do this from system settings...security and privacy...security wipe. it takes a long time 15 min or more...don't remove battery...that could cause bricking...which means you have yo reload os...can be done easily enough though...hope this does the trick.

I've got another problem, I used file manager to move photos from my sd card to the phone itself and now no matter where it is, the pictures app or story maker can't see them. Even if I put them back in to a camera folder. They are there because file manager and my computer see them.
