As a trucker, I must say, your friend is an inconsiderate dangerous ******* who makes our roadways just that much less safe. Recognition and response time at that speed is so short. He could easily cause a major incident (I won't call it an accident because it's not). Killing law abiding commuters and people like myself who are working. And before you tell me about all the fast trucks you see out there, my truck is governed at 102km/h and trucks in Canada are mandated at 105 km/h. Your friend has a death wish. I just hope he doesn't take anyone else out when he looses it at that speed.

Buddy, I hear what you're saying but you need a reality check. The average person speeds. And guess what if it's by 1 km or 10 its still speeding. So by you going 102km you're speeding. Take the log out of your on eye and stop judging.

Actually when I say low speed I mean 50-60kmph. If you notice, the background looks like it's a high way. Highways are usually 4 lanes wide. By the zoom from the picture, one can argue that it is 3-4 lanes apart. Not only that, but who would be taking pictures in the middle of the highway, perfectly zoomed and in the exactly precise moment and that car...

After reading the OP's description it is safe to asume people here got the wrong idea. Actually the picture was taken at less than 20kmph. Simple physics, the car was moving and the Z10 was going at relatively the same speed.

Here in the states we have toll roads where you can legally go 85 - 90 mph.

Drive any of the 400 series highways in Ontario the posted limit is 100/KPH and the cops won't even look at you till you break 140 the average speed is around 130 easily.

Mine's way badder (and rarer) than both of them...

She does 238 MPH with close to 1100 HP in her now...but I've only had her to 185...

This was taken at about 55-65 MPH. The rail support in the foreground is straight in reality, but seems bent when the camera attempts to capture it at speed. If you know where to look, (right to left) this picture actually captures the tower tops of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco waterfront and both spans of the Oakland Bay Bridge with Yerba Buena Island in between them.

That was on the DVP. 90km zone still cool pic, didn't mean to get people worked up about speeding lol. Again I don't support people taking pictures at high speeds, but wall make choices. Actually there's a forum in here that shows some cool pix taken on the Z10 yall should search it when you get a chance.
