Hi everyone,

I'm curious to know why I can't receive or send picture messages while I am on wifi. Is there a setting I am missing to do so or does it just require an active data stream from my cellular network.

MMS/SMS(texting, print and pics) are NOT data services, when using wifi only, not data services will not operate(phone, text etc)

So what your saying is that I need to have an active data connection and wifi is not an active connection rather a passive one. So I need to have my carrier data enabled to have mms capabilities etc

Did I get that right?

No, both are active, but for MMS you need an active connection with your carriers network.
