Hey guys, I searched but couldn't find anyone with this issues so forgive me if I missed it. But my native pictures app just stopped working all of a sudden a few months back. I thought subsequent OS updates would have fixed the problem but they haven't. Anyone with this problem or should I just download a third-party app?

Very odd, what is it doing, just not opening? Any error message? Also have the updates been official releases, i.e. ones that keep your settings etc? If they have been official, have you tried a security wipe, the problem could just be carrying itself through each update.

Try swipe and re installed latest app version.

I only ever use official OS updates. What would a security swipe do? Yes the problem has just been continuing through each OS update.

When you say latest app version what do you mean. I'm talking about the BB picture app is their a way to re-install that alone?

Also won't all my data be lost if I do a security wipe?

Yes you will lose your data, however update to the latest link software and backup, backup backup
