Am I the only one having problems with trying to dial a number from a website? I've tried it several times and it just doesn't work. I hope it is just a quirk.

This might help: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/26830881. Copy a block of text to your clipboard (e.g. in an e-mail or web page). No need to be exact, as long as the phone number is in there somewhere. The app then scans the text for phone numbers, and lets you dial, text or save them.

Tip: to copy text, tap and hold. Keep holding for the entire paragraph. Keep holding for the next paragraph etc.

You can't get a phone number from a website either. Wtf is up with that? My old torch did that! Every phone is in the planet does it. But not the Z10.

This is driving me nuts not being able to do this. All my old blackberry's did this but the z10 does not. Google a number and I never have a pen to write it down, so I copy and paste and either add it to contacts which annoys me cause a one time call or I text it to my self as I can dial it from a text.

This needs to be fixed for sure. Not sure how this one slipped through the cracks.

There are a few work arounds for this that people who complain about this issue seem to ignore.

Copy a number from anywhere.
Open browser
In the url type: tel:
paste the number right after tel:
???
