I have had a z10 for a year now - first BlackBerry phone - am happy with it but there are three things that would make it perfect - 1 a larger capacity battery
    - 2 a louder ringer for incoming calls
    - 3 the new Paratek antenna for better reception in low coverage areas

If you do decide on upgrading, wait a few more months for the BlackBerry Z50. Meanwhile, consider buying the charger for the Z10. It comes with a battery.

Is the z50 the device John Chen claims will draw iPhone and Android users to the BlackBerry fold?

The Z50 or "BlackBerry Ontario"will be the most powerful all-touch device and will be in competition with iPhone and Android devices. Not sure if John said that, sorry. But in the long run, with the current climate, BlackBerry will be focusing less on phones in the future. So this year's devices will be a real deciding factor for BlackBerry.

I think the ringer is pretty loud. Maybe you should adjust your notification volume

You're mistaken. John is heavily invested on a successful launch for many devices this year, including the all-touch BlackBerry Z3. He stated in January his intentions to release an all-touch phone and showed the Z3 off earlier in February to the media at Mobile World Congress. It is now on pre-order and to be launched next week Tuesday. Are you going to get it?

Sorry I mean any high end full touch device. He said he'll concentrate on qwerty this year.

Does the antenna in the z30 do an impressively better job at cell signal reception than the z10? Reason I ask is my area has pathetic coverage and signal at best goes from two bars to none fluctuates in seconds so basically has none. Would z30 improve on that?

Yeah, you will get 3 to full bard, where none of the others phones get range. For example in a concrete building, when on a train or a lift, you will get enough range to make calls.
