    So, I have only been using the z10 for 5 years. I just recently erased some important text messages by mistake. So have been trying to figure out how to recover. I had removed the blackberry link on my computer because I never used it. I really just use the phone for texting and have a few mb data for when I'm lost on the road. It is an emergency phone mostly.
    So I have lost my important texts. Tried to recover. Now enterring wrong f...n password. Shut down the phone thinking I would just start over, to get the message Warning four more attempts at wrong password will wipe out all data.

    HELP!!!! (please)

    Now, if she doesn't remember the password and also does not have the email account, then the phone will wipe.

    I believe the texts will not be recoverable, even if she does remember the password.
