I'm lucky if I get 8 hours out of my battery. But I think part of my issue is a work email account that I cannot change the sync rate for. I get about a 1000 to 1500 emails a day (work in IT and an CC'd everything) so my phone is constantly receiving.

Only reason I'm not going crazy is because I'm around a charger all the time.

If your display isn't the highest on the list, you aren't a moderate user lol or at least second on the list

4 hours on moderate use, texting, browsing. Not good imho
That's not my experience. In fact triple that rate if I'm on moderate use

I usually get about 9hours (Im not in the "red zone" after 9 hours) and then i charge again because i work most nights. This weekend something weird happened, i was in a rural area and when in 4G the drain was very high... then i changed to 3/2G and the idle went to normal.

My battery life is terrible even when I charge it all night long (for 7-8 hours maximum) I only get 5 hours of battery life. The only way to prevent it is if I turn off my phone the entire time I'm at school. Which is really annoying because then every time I want to use my phone at school I have to wait 2 minutes until it turns on.

And even when my display is at the lowest it can possibly be, the battery life still drains fast

Actually, I don't really see anyone here with bad battery life when juxtaposed with the usage. If you really want a battery life that you won't worry about lasting a full day with moderate to heavy use, consider a Mugar 3800 mAh for the Z10. The only drawback is you can't use a case. I charge mine at night, but it has never gone below 45% with major use. I've been using it for 2 months and am pretty happy with it. $89 plus shipping from their website.

That's what I'm saying. If people want to use their phone a lot and expect 25 hours from a 1800mah battery it's silly

Are you on 4g? Is blackberry link turned off? There are some things you could do. Also how fast is your phone locked after use?

    Nonsense.

I own several phones, battery life is a big deal to me, and my z10 has perfectly decent battery life. I charge it once a day, yet I use it all the time.

I make and receive calls quite a bit, I do lots of texting, very little BBM, a lot of email, the odd stint of Web browsing, reading the cberry stuff, news, Evernote, and so in a typical day.

    Suits me just fine.

Been sending bbms all day long, checked crackberry a few times too. Also left my phone out in the sun before and it got to 44 Degrees Celsius.

I'll admit it's not always this good, different from day to day.

Here we ate a few hours later. Again, just going into CB, one other social network app, no videos, no camera use..this speaks for itsrlf....u be the judge. I did turn off BlackBerry Link. Other than that, nothing else is running in the backgroud.

The culprit may be the 4G trying to connect all the time. My old Optimus used to do that all the time.

These device monitor stats don't show jack squat. All they show is the battery drain over a specific period of time, not taking into account any usage of the phone. If you want to show your usage then download battery guru and post a screenshot of it. It shows how much the phone is actually being used in accordance with the battery drain. Until these are posted, these other pictures mean nothing. I just don't buy these massive battery stories, unless every feature of the phone is turned off.

Every feature of the phone is turned off... yet the phone is being used to browse and snapchat and watch videos and still be on cb10 to debate this with you? lol laughable. I am not downloading jack squat either. I'm not being paid by BlackBerry to claim or not claim anything. I am sharing my experience with proof of what my z10 can and cannot do. The picture is there.
