My phone overheated or began too I guess and I already know it reboots as a defense mechanism. So my question is how do I avoid potential overheating situations and how could my Device possibly reach 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit?

My device has been overheating for a few days now. There are a couple of ways, playing a 3D game, searching for a wi-fi signal when there is none, having a rogue app installed. Having too many processes going on in the background.

I downloaded Battery Pal to keep track of the temp and mine got as high as 41C last night....105 degrees.
Doing nothing. Sitting there. It's also expected to have the temp rise when you charge and/ or talk on the phone. Some say android sideloads cause the temp rise. I dunno.

I also downloaded Task Manager (free) in BBWorld. And killed a bunch of Android processes that were running.

I have also read that an old battery can cause the overheating.
And that sometimes a leak could be at fault.

    So take your pick.lol

Although I have THREE batteries and I tried them all yesterday and they were ALL overheating!
