    One thing I liked about the older OS was the ability to download apps without having to settle for what was in app world. Does anyone know if they kept this feature or did 10 go the way of Apple and Android and allow only BlackBerry approved apps?

    Officially only app world. The previous model of installing apps ota with .jad files isn't possible. I know on the PlayBook you can side load over wifi through a Google Chrome extension. Search crackberry i know it's there somewhere. I haven't tried on bb10 but i would like to... I'll get back to you when i have time

    You can sideload bar files on the Z10 as well. The vnbb10 software will do this for you.
