So I received an email back for this app couple of days ago. After downloading and installing it, it was working great. All my past conversations were there and all of my contacts that use it were under contacts as well.

Having said that after I did a reset of my z10 about 9 hours after initially installing this application almost all my contacts are not showing anymore. I originally had over 40 and now when I go under contacts there is only 5 of them there.

Was told the issue had something to do with contacts being "linked" together via Facebook Bbm etc. I can accept that I guess. But why were they all showing and working properly when I originally installed this application. I didn't change any settings after I installed the whatsapp.

Anyone else experience this or can shine some light on what to do??

I sent an email on developer's site but didn't get invite for OpenWhatsApp yet. How did you get it?

That's what beta testers are for, you experience bugs. App is not perfect yet, I suggest you message the developer not just post it here on crackberry.
