Google Maps 6.14.3 (or later) is available on this thread
    http://forums.crackberry.com/android...ng-z10-766594/

6.14 crashes when you go into Settings but other then that it works really well. I tried 6.2 (it doesn't crash when you go into settings) but I liked 6.14 better because you can cache larger map areas. Thats a big advantage for me since I travel so much
You can log into your Google account on 6.2??? That's the only reason why it's supposed to crash, because rim doesn't want Google login.

The only reason I need Gmaps is cause of the Public Transportation. If I'm just driving usually I don't require a GPS and if I do. BlackBerry maps works perfectly

Waze has won me over. Hoping the port will be much better for Google maps on the Jellybean 4.2.2 runtime.

I am either waiting for fully working google maps, or update to BlackBerry maps, whatever comes first, although in Poland I always preferred Google, as being more up-to-date.
But the current maps offer by BlackBerry is a big misunderstanding
Have a look: my current position marked with blue dot with triangle, just by the border with Germany...

Luckiky for Indonesians, Indonesia's map is pretty decent too. With local intonation of road names for voice guidance to boot.

In fact BlackBerry Maps is the only one that comes with turn by turn navigation in Indonesia.

Australia as well. we got decent map coverage here and the GPS locks up quick as well, much quicker than my Garmin's sat nav which takes 1-2 mins to "acquire satellite position".

and i'm pretty sure most Asia Pac countries have their BB Maps coverage. as well as UK, USA, CA and most EMEA countries. bear in mind BB has 175 countries as its partners though so i'm pretty sure right now most of those countries are available on the BB Maps.

Google OWNS people. This is why I never bought into the friggin Google ecosystem, I never used Gmaps very much and I don't use Gmail. As soon as you're totally into Google you totally depend on them and their services and instantly there's no more choice but to go with either Android or any other platform that's so big that Google can't afford not to support it (iOS at the meantime).

Screw you, Google. Just pull out a native Gmaps App as well as Google NOW for BB10, I WILL NOT download it.

WTH!! Indonesia and Thailand have got BlackBerry maps? why has India being left out? This is crazy!!

Although the MapmyIndia off-line premium maps are available as a free download in India but they are nowhere as close to what a map app ought to be..

And to top it off 'em MF's at Google have been royally ignoring us BlackBerry users.. world is not a happy place at the moment for someone who wants a half De ent map app in india..

You have to go to the Layers icon and select it. It has it on the Z10
