    So I got a friend to move away from Iphone to a Z10 and I've been trying to help him with his "howto" questions. But now he's given me a question I can't answer.

    He said that anytime, after streaming audio on his phone (mostly through Tunein Radio, I assume), he says that the phone will be unplugged from the aux cable, but when he tries to answer a call, it only answers in headphone mode. Any ideas???

    I do have him on a leak. I think it's something like .2160ish. He's on ATT.

    Maybe there's something stuck inside the headphone jack that makes the Z10 think that it's still connected to a headset?

    Are you sure it's a wired headset it's showing, and not a Bluetooth connection?

    What is he connecting that aux cable to when he is using it?

    Let him go through the Virtual Expert. It will prompt him at some point to connect a jack. It will show if something is screwed up.

    He's using a couple of different AUX devices. One goes into car radio system and the other is an adapter to an I device. It sends micro USB to I 30 pin.

    You kinda answered your own question. The device thinks a headphone is connected.

    Does anyone know how to remove this without severely damaging the device?

    He said "broken in" not "broken", there is a difference. Once again have him try the Virtual Expert.
