    Since most recent update, we're often not getting the notification chime on emails, even from contacts in address book.

    Anyone else having this same issue?

    The Email acct's notifications are turned off by default, check in settings, notifications,normal,customize app notifications.

    I wont get the email notification despite having these settings in Custom Apps.

    If you change the tone to a different one, do you hear the new choice (I don't know why there is no test function, but it will sound when you change to a different one).

    Since you are posting using CB10, type

    myver (then press the spacebar)

    and it will show your model and OS version.
