Hey guys, I'm writing to inquire about a new occurrence on the phone since 10.1 update.


Everytime I get a new message, could be Facebook, bbm, email etc., the bell appears in unison with said messages. It never did this until a couple of days ago. Normally the bell would be for BlackBerry world updates, wifi problems etc.

Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this or if this is part of the update os? I ask because girlfriends' doesn't do this, and she too has updated.

Nope can't say that I have personally experienced this. May need a OS reload

Ok thank you. Quick question. Os reload straight from link keeps everything as is, right? I mean settings, apps etc. And does link have the latest version....not sure since I did it ota.

Sigh. Would love to try the reload device software, except the button, upon being clicked does absolutely nothing on link. Just for once I wish that program would work with no issues. My BlackBerry is connected, detected fine, backed up, but that device software button does nothing. Oh well.
