Apologies for repetition. Is there any way to sync either notes/reminders/tasks using ActiveSync? This is another deal killer for me. I have probably 50 notes on my Outlook that I need mobile access to constantly.

You believe incorrectly- they don't, unfortunately.

Did you go into the options and enable it? According to http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...emopad-759486/ there should be the following options

Generic: notebook stored locally on device
ActiveSyncMemo: synced to your ActiveSync account as a Memo (note)
ActiveSyncTask: synced to your ActiveSync account as a Task (a todo item)
Evernote: synced to your Evernote account

And I'm not 100% sure but Note sync may be dependent on your version of Exchange. I'm not sure if that was added in Exchange 2010 or 2013.

Where do I find options for ActiveSync?

My Notes and Tasks are synced to Remember (not Reminder). It *may* be dependent on the version of Exchange you are running.

You find the ActiveSync options in the e-mail setup application.

Looks likes note synching was added in Activesync 14.0 which was for Exchange 2010.

Yeah, you couldn't get notes on Android/iPhone until Exchange 2010 came out. I still don't think iPhone syncs them (I may be wrong, haven't looked into it), but I know as soon as Exchange 2010 came out, the Touchdown mail app for Android started synching notes. It was one of the reasons I stayed with BB.

Its not's a BB issue as they work fine for me. I am running SBS 2011 that has exchange 2010.

Exchange 2007 works differently than 2010 with EAS. That's why notes and tasks aren't coming across.

So it seems clear that notes will not sync using EAS with Exchange Server 2007 or older. What if the Z10 were connected through BES 10? Would notes sync then?

Unfortunately no. We have BES10 and activated our Z10s on BDS. No notes at all. Nothing mentioned in the installation manual. There is even a setting in BDS that has memopad sync set to Yes. THis works great on my 9900 with BESX and old MAPI technology but guess what? It worked and BESX was FREE. So disappointed. There are "Tasks" if you can call them that but it's missing the Status, Priority, Reminder (I rely on this), Recurence and Category. If there is no reminder for a task, then what's the point?

Will someone clarify this? Will notes and tasks from outlook sync if you use outlook.com with EAS?

notes *should* sync with Outlook.com via ActiveSync.
The client has to be able to process it however. (sadly, most don't)
