Is that for Canada or US. In Canada, you can get z30 for $0 on a two contract (most likely those contracts are awful though).

No real need for deals. Try any classifieds site and you can get a bnib z10 for between 200 and 250 C$. Amazon and other online retailers also have good deals, best I saw was $280.

$280 is not a deal when you can get a decently spec'ed Android for 150 to 180 now. This is BBs chance to get back in the game since people buy stuff on pure impulse just because it is cheap on Black Friday.

If you're in Canada, Kijiji has plenty of z10 bnib, specifically in Ontario. (if you're in kitchener - waterloo ever, you'll find the greatest cache and greatest deals on BlackBerry 10). Your OP was for a deal on z10 so your comment about android for 150 to 180$ is not on point. My assertion was that based on the market, particularly for BlackBerry 10 phones, there are some great deals on classified sites if you're up for some digging around.

I am in USA, and my comment on Android is right on point. If you consider their deals irrelevant, that attitude brought the BB in condition it is today, the ignorance of competition and eventually losing market share to Android.

If a consumer sees a $150 android and a $300 Blackberry, which one do to think they will go for? We are talking about consumer who has no idea they can run android apps, no idea about 10.2 or anything else.

I expected BB to have a sale direct to market at reasonable prices to attract attention.

It is too late now.
